About us

Maria dreamed of becoming a seamstress from the time she was a little girl. After hardships and raising nine children she was finally able to realize that dream when she bought The Sewing Room back in 1987. She renamed the little shop to Alterations & More, and in 1994 relocated to Galleria Oaks.
