Maria dreamed of becoming a seamstress from the time she was a little girl. After hardships and raising nine children she was finally able to realize that dream when she bought The Sewing Room back in 1987. She renamed the little shop to Alterations & More, and in 1994 relocated to Galleria Oaks.
Today, Alterations & More is still small and customer focused. Despite opportunities for growth, Maria wanted to keep the shop intimate. Come in and see for yourself why Alterations & More will be the last tailor you ever use.
